Bite is a social media–driven food tracking and reviewing app that simplifies the rating process through smart comparison algorithms. The platform exposes users to a wide variety of restaurants and authentic reviews, making restaurant discovery faster and more enjoyable.
In designing the brand identity, we focused on addressing two key challenges:
Shifting the mindset from traditional delivery apps to a food rating and discovery experience.
Encouraging users to leave Google Maps and engage directly within the app.
We also drew inspiration from the psychology of color in food branding, selecting hues proven to stimulate appetite and engagement:
Red – Triggers strong hunger.
Orange – Captures attention instantly.
Yellow – Evokes happiness and positivity.
Green – Communicates freshness.
Blue – Rare in food, thus less appetizing.
