I was deeply honored to receive the Prince Sultan Bin Salman Award for Architectural Heritage, a recognition that celebrates innovation rooted in cultural and environmental sustainability.
This award was granted to me for developing and designing a unique project that reimagined the traditional Saudi farm, adding new life and functionality to it. By carefully integrating a boutique hotel within the farms of Taif, I sought to preserve the authenticity of the land while creating new opportunities for farmers.
The design not only celebrated the natural beauty and agricultural heritage of the region but also provided farmers with a sustainable way to increase their income and revitalize their lands.
The project stands as a model for how architecture can honor tradition while opening doors to modern growth. It reflects my belief that design can serve as a bridge between cultural preservation and contemporary development, ensuring that heritage remains alive, evolving, and beneficial to the community.
